Happy Noodle Ramen Package Design
For this assignment I chose to design a series of ramen packages as a tribute to my Asian heritage. My concept for all three packages was simply to create a happy bowl of noodles, hence the name “Happy Noodle”. I wanted my packages to give a visceral response while also having a clear system of how each design flows amongst each other. In each design the noodles serve as a smile, the eyes: ajitama, kamaboko, and peeled tiger shrimp; and the eyebrows, bok choy, bean sprouts, and enoki mushrooms. My favorite part about the packages are the subtle, oriental repeat patterns in the background.
